BROTHERS Clint and Stan Rogers are returning to perform at the Brewhouse Theatre, in Taunton – a year to the day after they became the first act to sell-out the re-opened auditorium.

Tickets for Cleverly Everly, who have been in demand in pubs and clubs across Somerset since forming as an Everly Brothers tribute band 18 months ago, on Saturday, May 23, are already on sale.

Clint, a BBC Points West correspondent, said: “We had such a tremendous time at the Brewhouse last May and to be asked to come back is a real honour.”

The Cleverly Everly act also features guests who help to recreate music from the 60s, including Buddy Holly, Dusty Springfield and the Shadows.

Stan, who works at the UK Hydrographic Office, in Taunton, said: “For us it’s all about bringing back memories for the audience and getting people to let their hair down - the idea is you don’t leave without a smile on your face.”

The Brewhouse closed down after going into administration, but it was rescued by community group Taunton Theatre Association.
