ENMORE Park Golf Club handed over a cheque for more than £450 to St Margaret’s Hospice at a recent event.
The men’s captain Ken Doig chose the St Margaret’s Hospice as his charity of the year and was delighted to hand over a cheque for £4,570 to the charity’s vice-chairman David Jenkins.
The cash was raised during a charity golf day plus smaller events like the captain’s bunker, sponsored silent 18 hole of golf, raffles and fines.
Julie Draper, community fundraiser for St. Margaret’s Hospice said: “I would like say a huge thank you to Ken and fellow golfers for this fantastic amount of money."
