SIR Benjamin Slade presented a cheque for £10,000 to Macmillan Cancer Support on Monday following a hugely successful Christmas fair at his home, Maunsel House.
Sir Benjamin opened the doors of the 13th century manor in North Newton to visitors for the event back in November.
Macmillan’s area chairman Sue Bridger received the cheque on the charity’s behalf.
