A WELLINGTON dental practice has brought smiles to the community by welcoming an experienced and respected dentist to the team.

Dr Mark Stewart took over Woodlands Dental Surgery earlier this month and is now the principal dentist at the practice.

Dr Stewart has recently completed a Diploma in Implant Dentistry through Bristol University, and has over ten years of experience within the field.

He has also completed an MSc in restorative-based dentistry, meaning that he is able to perform more complex dental procedures and offer a high standard of patient care.

He has another practice in Exeter and will divide his time between there and Wellington.

Based near Tiverton he enjoys running, skiing, and watching his four children play sport.

Dr Stewart said: “Leading the team at Woodlands Dental Surgery is a very exciting development in my career and I'm really pleased to be part of such a friendly, community-focused practice.

“Wellington is a great place to be, and I hope I can continue the good work of my predecessor, Dr Keith Thomas, who has now retired. I look forward to meeting more of our patients over the next few months and would like to thank the team for giving me such a warm welcome to the practice.”

Woodlands Dental Surgery, based on the High Street, is now welcoming new private patients. To find out more about the practice or to book an appointment with Dr Stewart, contact a member of the team on 01823 666651.
