FOUR of the top academic pupils from King's College Taunton have been celebrating this week after being told they have been offered places at Oxford and Cambridge Universities.
Head Boy Joshua Stickland has been offered a place to read modern history at St Hugh's College, Oxford. Annie O'Neill has been offered a place to read computer science at Clare College Cambridge, Oliver Fox has a place to read medicine at Robinson College, Cambridge, and Edward Gibb a place to read classics at St Benet's Hall, Oxford.
Headmaster Richard Briggs said: "Academic excellence lies at the very heart of life at King's, and it is extremely pleasing to see two of the best universities in the world recognise the talent, hard work and dedication of some of our most gifted pupils."
