THE driver of an overturned car found on Monday night (December 29) has been found uninjured according to a fire service spokesman.
Burnham emergency services were sent to the crash involving one car found upside-down in a ditch in Brean Road, Lympsham at 8pm.
The female drive of the car was tracked down the following day (Tuesday) after she managed to escape from the wreckage.
Two fire engines and a rescue tender from Glastonbury attended the incident amid fears that somebody was trapped inside the vehicle, but crews found the car was empty.
