THIS year, 2015, marks the 50th year of Royal Mail’s Special Stamp programme which celebrates events and commemorates anniversaries relevant to all of the UK.
As part of the programme to celebrate the occasion, Royal Mail has launched an online gallery of every Special Stamp issued since July 1965, which includes images of the stamps featuring the iconic buildings and landscapes of the South West of England, Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol in 2006 and the SS Great Britain leaving Bristol in 1969.
