SOMERSET GPs are reminding patients to call 111 for help and advice first, if they are unsure of what medical service they need.
NHS 111 is available to call free 24/7. Yo u should use the service if you need medical help fast but it is not an emergency, if you think you need to go to A&E, you don’t know who to call, or need health information.
For immediate or life-threatening emergencies, call 999.
