TWO fire appliances from Minehead attended a chimney fire at Codsend Road in Cutcombe last night at 7.31pm, (December 21).
Crews worked from the hearth using chimney gear and two breathing apparatus due to carbon monoxide levels.
A lot of debris was removed from the chimney and the building was heavily smoke logged.
Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, chimney gear, a thermal image camera and a gas detector to deal with the incident.
