Chimney fire in Porlock (December 21)
FIRE crews from Porlock attended a chimney fire in Huntscott Road, Luccombe in Minehead last night just after 7pm, (December 21).
On arrival crews confirmed that the chimney was well alight but that the fire was confined to the chimney flue. Crews removed the plate and dealt with the incident using chimney gear, one hose reel and a thermal image camera.
