NOMINATIONS are being sought for someone exceptional in Bridgwater who is a worthy candidate to win the Bridgwater Cup.
The cup is awarded on an annual basis to the individual or group that has done the most in any one year, or previous years, for the people of the town.
The cup is made from silver gilt, and was produced in London in 1768 in the reign of King George III.
All suggestions for the award should be requested by January 5, 2015.
These should be made in an envelope, marked ‘The Bridgwater Cup’, to Bridgwater Town Council, Town Hall, High Street, Bridgwater, Somerset TA6 3AS or email townclerk@bridgwatertowncouncil.gov.uk
