THREE talented Chilton Trinity students have been emulating musical superstars Michael Buble and Lily Allen in front of Britain’s Got Talent judges.
Year 8 student Jemma Davey, aged 12, sang her audition song, ‘Feeling Good’, by Michael Buble, while duo Rhiannon Coleman, and Cerys Ethridge performed ‘Somewhere only we know’ by Lily Allen.
The heats at Cardiff were part of the countdown to the television stages.
It is the latest demonstration of Chilton Trinity’s thriving musical department.
Jemma has been singing since primary school and performing on the stage at Chilton.
Rhiannon auditioned for BGT last year but didn’t get through as producers felt she wasn't ready but they said she had a lovely tone to her voice.
Since then Rhiannon has grown in confidence and has begun working with the talented guitar and vocalist Cerys to form an acoustic duo.
Head of Music Graeme Wright said: “We are so proud of them for their talent, ambition and courage. They will go far.”
