FIREFIGHTERS will return to the scene of a major barn fire near Taunton this morning to try to find out what caused it.
Fire crews from Taunton, Wellington, Bridgwater and Wiveliscombe were sent to Knapp, North Curry, at around 5.15pm yesterday, following reports of a fire in an attic at a farm building.
They stripped tiles to help them deal with the fire, which wasn't put out until around six hours later at 11.10pm.
Crews were due to return at 4am today to check the scene is still safe, before carrying out their investigations later in daylight.
