FOLLOWING the success of the inaugural Bridgwater Business Networking event, speakers have been confirmed for the second meet this week.

The networking event takes place this Thursday (November 6) between 8am and 10am at The Canalside in Bridgwater.

The theme of the session is traffic and with Somerset County Council’s Alyn Jones, EDF’s Alex Ramsey and Chris Hutchison from The Bridgwater Way all confirmed as guest speakers.

The Bridgwater Business Network, which was founded by Allen Construction Consultancy, Bridgwater’s Chamber of Commerce, Bridgwater College and Higos Insurance Services, provides a forum where local businesses can hear and meet the key people who shape the future of business in Bridgwater.

It aims to provide opportunities for Bridgwater businesses to meet, develop strong business relationships and learn from business experts.

Kathryn Lennon-Johnson, from founding partner group Allen Construction Consultancy, said: “We know traffic and transport are some of the biggest issues affecting Bridgwater businesses, so this event gives local businesses the opportunity to come and hear from those who make key decisions which impact on us all. Representatives from businesses of all sizes are encouraged to attend.

“We were absolutely delighted with the response to the first event and thank everyone who attended.”

Spaces are limited with entry to the event costing £10 with a breakfast roll included.
