CHILDREN in West Buckland have an extra spring in their step when they head to school, with a host of new play equipment to enjoy.
Housebuilder Bloor Homes has given £500 towards the village school’s before and after school club, which has paid for outdoor play equipment and seating for quiet time indoors.
Helen MacGregor, West Buckland Primary School head teacher, said: “The club provides much needed support to working parents and those looking to get back into work and in turn boosts the local economy.
“We are also providing a fun, educational environment for local children and are so grateful to Bloor Homes for helping to make the club a reality.”
