A TAUNTON supermarket has boosted a campaign to help build a sensory room at Musgrove Park Hospital’s children’s unit.
Shoppers at Asda voted using the supermarket’s token scheme for Kelsey’s Cancer Fund to receive a £200 donation. The money was handed over at the store to representatives from Musgrove earlier this month.
Kelsey’s Cancer Fund was set up by Miranda Petty, as a way to thank the charities who have looked after her daughter Kelsey, now aged three, during her battles with cancer.

The next event organised by the charity will be held at The Master Thatcher pub in Severn Drive, Taunton, on December 7, from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
There will be more than 35 Christmas stalls, a petting zoo and a Frozen-themed Santa’s Grotto.
