VICTORIA Park Community Centre in Bridgwater got a cash boost from Cllr Mick Lerry this week.
The ward grant for £500 was given to the centre to improve access for wheelchair users. Cllr Mick Lerry said: “The Victoria Park Community Centre is an important hub for the residents of Victoria Ward, the access chairs will increase accessibility for some users of the Centre, with additional needs.
“Over the past 2 years the Community Centre has increased the number of activities for local people and the recent developments of the parking area and cafe have created greater use by local people.”
