Wadham School student wins Red Arrows design competition
A GIFTED student from Wadham School in Crewkerne has excelled in a design competition.
Alexandra Jackson, a year 13 student, entered a competition to design a poster for the 50th anniversary of the Red Arrows.
The competition was only open to air cadets and Alexandra’s entry was one of ten picked.
She was chosen to visit RAF Scampton, home of the Red Arrows, where she was able to watch a display and take part in science and technology activities.
Physicist and TV presenter Professor Brian Cox and Jason Bradbury, of Channel 4 television programme The Gadget Show, attended the event.
