SOMERSET County Council has donated some of its old computers to local charities.
COMMUNITY groups in Somerset have been given old computers from Somerset County Council.
The disused machines have been given to voluntary organisation Community Computers which has refurbished the PCs and installed the latest software on to them.
Cllr David Huxtable, cabinet member responsible for resources, said: “I am delighted our old computers are being put to good use by community organisations.
“I hope the project will continue and more charities and community groups can benefit from our old computers in the future.”
