RACHEL needs to raise over £3,000 after being selected to go on a trip to Japan next year.
A SCOUT from Wembdon has been selected to attend the World Scout Jamboree in Japan next year.
However Rachel Wise, aged 13, needs to raise over £3,000 to be able to go on the trip next year.
She will be fundraising at a craft fair which is being held on Saturday, September 20, in Wembdon Parish Centre from 10am to noon.
Rachel, who belongs to 1st Bridgwater St George’s Wembdon Scout Group, said: “I’m excited but nervous because I will stay with a family there and will have to learn some Japanese.”
