POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a burglary at a property in Yeovil.

The incident happened in Mudford Road sometime between 6.30pm and 7.10pm on Thursday August 28.

A property was broken into and items were stolen from inside. A male was seen running from the driveway of the property around the time of the incident.

He is described as white, with short dark curly hair, between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 10ins tall, of thin build and was wearing a large tan coloured rucksack.

Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for anyone who saw a man matching the above description or similar, in the area around the time of the incident, or anyone who witnessed anything suspicious, to please contact us.
