FOOD fanatics from across Somerset will be flocking to Taunton next month for the annual Foodie Festival in Taunton.
Organised by Somerset charity St Margaret’s Hospice, the one day fundraising event will have craft stalls, entertainment and plenty for food and drink on offer.
Budding bakers will have the chance to show off their culinary skills as a new bake-off competition joins the fun for the first time this year.
Event organiser, Elizabeth Bruin said: “This year’s event will have a foodie focus with many delicious foods and drinks stalls keeping tummy’s full and refreshed.”
There is still a lot to see and do once you’re full though with live bands, including Best Kept Secret, Fools and Horses and Stuff like Stan on stage.
Once your food has gone down why not have a go on the bouncy castle or watch the Morris dancers.
For those who still aren’t full up there’s a vintage tearoom for visitors who want to relax and have a cream tea.
Any companies wishing to book a stall still have time to reserve their pitch and can contact St Margaret’s fundraising team on 01823 345911.
Gates will be open on Saturday September 13 from 12noon - 6pm, entrance costs £2 for adults and children under 13 get in for free.
