POLICE have released a series of CCTV images of two men they would like to trace following an assault which left another man with a broken jaw.
The victim, a 26-year-old man, was assaulted behind the YMCA in Friarn Street, Bridg-water, between 3.15am and 3.30am on Satur-day, August 10.
As a result of the attack, he needed metal plates and screws in-serting into his mouth.
Investigating officer Det Con Nicholas Feet-enby, of Bridgwater CID, said: “The victim was on his way home at the time the assault happened.
“He suffered some horrible injuries as a result of being punch-ed in the face which required surgery.
“There are two people we would like to trace and I’m hoping by releasing these images, someone will come forward and give us names.”
If you have information that may help the investigation, call DC Nicholas Feetenby via the 24-hour police enquiry centre on 101 and quote reference 82147/14.
