A BUILDING repair company in the Blackdown Hills has won new contracts which will enable it to create more jobs in the area.
The Property Consortium Group, which is based at the Culmhead Business Centre, was set up in Taunton but operates across the country and currently employs 150 people.
While visiting the business earlier this week, the MP for Taunton Deane, Jeremy Browne said: “The Property Consortium Group is an example of the widespread benefits of economic growth for Taunton Deane.
“They are able to pay their existing staff more as well as recruit new employees.
“I want to see more jobs and investment in Taunton Deane.
“Unemployment is falling and I want to see even more opportunities for local people to find work.”
