HIGHBRIDGE students who collected their A-level results this summer at Bridgwater College have been among some of the high-fliers with the best grades.
Two former King Alfred students were among those who performed exceptionally well; Jamie Hardwidge gained one A*, two As and one B while Molly Harding achieved one A* and two As, resulting in her going to Royal Holloway University, London, to study film, television and digital production.
Jamie, 18, who studied maths, chemistry, biology and physics and is progressing to Cardiff University to study medical engineering, said: “I worked hard and felt some went better than others but I’m really happy with my results.”
Jamie and Molly’s high marks have been a key highlight in a successful year for the college which saw a 99.5% pass rate for students.
