A GROUP of dedicated parents from Bridgwater who raise money for families in the community hosted their annual summer fair.
Parents’ Voice organised a host of activities at Sydenham Children’s Centre with special guest Woody from Toy Story helping to make the event a success.
Cllr Steve Austen, Mayor of Bridgwater, and his wife Stella, attended to see the new garden train donated by Parents’ Voice.
Julie Tomkins, chairman of Parents’ Voice, said: “The centre is an important part of the local community and offers support and services for anyone with children up to 19 years.
"The centre has proved to be a lifeline for many parents over the years enabling friendships and peer support, offering volunteer opportunities, adult education and much more. We look forward to its continuing success in the future.”
