POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an vehicle incident near Highbridge.
The incident happened on the A38 West Huntspill on Saturday August 2 between 7pm and 7.30pm, when an old style blue coloured Vauxhall Astra overtook a blue Peugeot 307 estate.
The overtaking action forced a yellow Fiat travelling in the opposite direction to have to take evasive action to avoid a head-on collision and brake suddenly. No-one is thought to have been injured and the yellow car continued with its journey.
However, police are keen to hear from the driver of the yellow car who they believe has useful information to help their enquiries.
Two men, aged 21 and 27 years, have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.
