THE results are in from the Mercury poll on what security measures readers feel should be used in North Petherton to stop vandalism . . . and there was a clear winner.
CCTV was the most popular answer with 51% of you giving it the thumbs-up.
Frequent police patrols received 31% of the vote and community patrols came last with 18%.
After hearing the poll results, North Petherton Mayor Alan Bradford said: “It’s an interesting result and we can certainly bring it up at a future council meeting.”
