A CRASH victim is appealing for help after a hit-and-run accident just off the M5 near Bridgwater.
A woman pulling off the M5 at junction 23 says a van driver drove into the back of her Peugeot 306 when she slowed down for a car in front of her to pull away.
The VW Caddy driver got out to apologise but then instead of following the victim to a safe place to exchange details he allegedly left the scene.
No one was hurt in the accident which happened last Monday evening at around 7pm.
It is believed the van will have a dent in the front passenger side. The male driver was said to be aged 35-40, 5ft 11 tall, and medium build.
Anyone with any details should call police on 101.
