FUN for all the family is on the cards at a Bridgwater care home’s summer fête.

Visitors are invited to The Rosary Nursing Home, Mayfield Drive to join staff and residents for an array of activities, entertainment and stalls on Saturday from 2pm to 5pm.

The home will be decked out in bunting and balloons with a raffle, tombola, lucky dip, cuddly toys and cakes.

There will be a pet’s corner with furry friends, an auction and live music from Wendy Bassett.

Refreshments will be served, including a barbecue, cream teas and ice cream.

Activities leader Wendy Parkin said: “Summer is a brilliant opportunity to get everyone together for a fun-filled day that all the family can enjoy. Our residents are so looking forward to the day and we hope the local community will join us for some fun in the sun.”

Entry at £1 includes a raffle ticket and all money raised will go to the Residents’ Activities Fund for trips and treats.
