A NATIONAL centre for folk arts launched its ‘Our Future’ Development Appeal at Sidmouth International Folk Week.
Halsway Manor wants to raise awareness and funds to restore and develop the manor and grounds, ensuring that it remains accessible and fit for purpose as a centre for folk arts.
Rachel Hill, of Halsway Manor, said: “Sidmouth’s the natural place for us to launch our appeal. Halsway Manor was established as an independent charity in 1965 by Bill Rutter, who was key in transforming Sidmouth Dance Festival into the International Folk Week we know today.”
