MUSGROVE Park Hospital must continue to improve, said Taunton Deane MP Jeremy Browne after meeting new chairman Colin Drummond.
They discussed recent and future developments to help provide patient treatment and care at the hospital.
Mr Browne, right, said: “Colin Drummond is a strong choice as chairman – he has extensive management experience and understands the needs of the local community in Taunton Deane.
“There have been some impressive improvements at Musgrove in recent years – both the Beacon Centre and the Jubilee Building have state-of-theart facilities for patients.
“It’s important that Musgrove continues to improve – Taunton’s the natural hub for hospital services in Somerset, and Musgrove’s ideal for providing expert patient care.
“The big task is to finance further upgrades to the buildings and firstclass patient care at the same time as operating within disciplined budget constraints.”
