CASTLE Green, in Taunton, is hosting a free family fun day from 10am to 4pm next Wednesday, July 30, in aid of Stand Against Violence.

The family activities include circus workshops, tightrope walking, juggling, craft workshops, face painting, tattoos, activities at the Museum of Somerset and various stalls, along with live music and entertainment.

A spokesman from sponsors Santander said: “We are proud to be involved with this family fun day to help raise funds for local causes while with the emphasis of families having fun and learning new skills from juggling to tightrope walking.”

The event is also supporting two other local causes – FUSE Performance, which inspired young people in Halcon, and Inspired Social Innovation Society, which aims to empower youth.
