Woman cut free after road traffic accident in Taunton

A WOMAN was cut free by firefighters after she was trapped in a vehicle following a crash this evening, Wedenesday, July 23.

Two cars were involved in the collision in Bindon Road, Taunton, at 6.50pm.

Fire crews cut the roof off the vehicle the victim was in.

She was handed over to the care of paramedics shortly after 7.30pm.

I'm guessing this is down to speed again they need to look into cameras on that road so many accidents on it in the last couple of years hope everyone involved are ok

It’s already a rat run where by any speed goes as long as the person gets to where they are going a little quicker, I've seen cars and motorbikes easily doing 70mph+ and I’ve contacted local councillors to try and get some sort of traffic calming in place but as of yet I haven’t had any response. (Why am I not surprised!)
Maybe the speed enforcement camera could make an appearance now and then or maybe the rarest of sights on Taunton’s roads a police car as they make there way back to Bridgewater!

It would be easy pickings (£££££££s) on that stretch of road.
