Won't notice much difference as traffic moves so slowly through Taunton anyway, 10mph is now speeding in this town.

Idiots driving down towards station road blocking the junction @Staplegrove road again this morning - should have their licences taken from them

No yellow box there to make it illegal, mind you saying that if there was half of em wouldn't know what it meant.

We all like our foul waste to flow away and forget about it? May of the sewers in Taunton (and many other towns...) are over 100 years old and brick-built - nothing like the systems put in place on new builds these days - so I think blaming TDBC/SCC is wholly unfair and unjust!

Every time I pass " road works " signs in the afternoon I never see any work being done!!! My son in law informs me this is because the workers have to get back to their depots. Not so long ago it was commonplace to see shirtless bronzed workers still working in the afternoon in the summer. What has changed? Is it lack of supervision or have we become a nation of skivers???

There could be many reasons - they could have placed concrete around the repair and it needs to cure overnight - no further work could be carried out until it had cured.
