PENSIONER Derrick Ward (pictured) has been jailed at Taunton Crown Court for four years and six months for firearms offences.
Ward, 81, from Somerset, was arrested in March when police attended his home and seized two handguns.
In court he pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm and possession of prohibited ammunition and he was found guilty of possession a firearm without a certificate.
