A HORSE which was stuck in deep water in Kingsbury Episcopi was rescued last night (July 15).
Firefighters were called out to the incident, at West Moor, at around 7pm to find a horse stuck in a ditch full of water which was around four to five feet deep.
The horse was blindfolded and had a halter on, so was calm, and crews asked a local farmer to provide some hydraulic lifting equipment.
The horse was released unharmed from the ditch.
