PEOPLE in Chard and Ilminster are being asked for their views about how people who commit antisocial behaviour and low level crime are dealt with.
Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner, Sue Mountstevens has launched a public consultation on ‘community remedy’ – part of the Government’s new Anti-social Behaviour, Crime & Policing Act.
She said: “I want to make sure the options offered in Avon and Somerset reflect the views of the community and I encourage as many people as possible to have their say, particularly if your lives have ever been affected by anti-social behaviour.”
The consultation will run until midnight on August 29 and you can respond by visiting avonandsomersetpcc.
