THEY did it for themselves, for those they've lost, and for friends and family who've beaten the disease.

Today 2,500 women, proud in their pink, entered to run in Cancer Research UK's Race For Life at Vivary Park in Taunton.

After a bouncy mass aerobics warm up, including a performance of the ‘Cancer Slam’ –Race for Life’s fun and defiant dance routine – at 11am, ladies lined up at the bandstand to begin their challenge.
