Police back 'Stand by Me' Mencap campaign
AVON and Somerset Police have signed up to Mencap’s ‘Stand by Me’ promise to show their commitment to ending hate crime against people with a learning disability.
The force has been actively supporting the scheme, which aims to ensure disabled people can live free from the fear of crime, since 2011.
