TWO Taunton students preparing for the challenge of a lifetime have almost reached their fundraising target with two months to spare – but are still calling on you to show your support.
Josh Arnold, 17, and George Gilham, 18, who both study at Richard Huish College, will test their stamina with a London to Paris cycle ride in September – in less than 24 hours.
The pair set themselves a target of £2,800 - £10 for each mile they will ride - and have surpassed the £2,000 mark, which will be donated to Somerset Sight.
Josh said: "We’ve been thrilled with the support we received from both businesses and individuals. “We have had sponsorship and support from Samson Office Supplies, GA Helliar & Son, Carly Press and WPA - Porter Dobson and want to thank them for their generous support.”
To sponsor the duo, call Somerset Sight on 01823-366147 or show your support on Twitter @LondontoParis24
