A STRANDED kitten and a man had to be rescued from a roof in Taunton.
The man became stuck trying to rescue the cat, which got stuck on top of Edward House in Queen Street.
Firefighters were called to rescue the pair shortly before 1.30pm today (July 6).
A fire service spokesman said: "One appliance from Taunton was mobilised to a report of a kitten on a flat roof which had been there for a few hours.
"Although the owner had spoken to the RSPCA, they were unable to attend for a few hours and the RSPCA requested attendance by the fire service."
On arrival, crews noticed a man was on the roof trying to save the feline and they were both brought to safety.
