A FORMER head of PE at Highbridge’s King Alfred School has been signing copies of his new book this month.
Andy Cruickshank, who worked at the school from 1975 to 1982, has penned ‘The Betrayal of Innocence’ and was signing copies at The Princess Theatre on June 21.
He told the Weekly News: “The Betrayal of Innocence is my second novel. It opens in Armenia in the late 1880s and moves through the first half of the 20th Century, concluding in Italy in 1961. It is not a war novel but clearly illustrates the horror of conflict; especially the Second World War.”
