SOMERSET County Council is to receive an extra £3.8million Government cash to repair the county’s roads.

The funding comes as latest figures show more than 25,000 potholes were repaired in Somerset in the year to April.

Let's hope they spend the money wisely and do the repairers properly, unlike the ones in Stathe. The repairs to the pot holes are a joke and won't last more than a few moths

Heres hoping this money is spent on road repairs where it is supposed to be used and not siphoned off to satisfy other pet schemes. I wait with bated breath and a long memory of how the roads budget has been robbed in the past resulting in todays sorry state of affairs.
