AN array of colour lit up the Victoria Rooms at Milverton Summer Flower Show, despite late downpours scuppering the chances of some entries.

Heavy rain last Thursday and Friday damaged some entries in the Roses and Sweet Peas classes ahead of the show on Saturday (June 28), but judges praised the standard of entries across the board.

Growers must now prepare for Milverton and District Garden Club’s autumn show, which will take place on September 13.
