THE sun shone on Nynehead Court as care home visitors coined in cash for charity.
More than £600 was raised for the Alzheimer’s Society at the home’s summer fete on Saturday (June 28), with guests and residents taking part in a range of fundraising events.
Activities included donating money to guess the weight of a cake, while food and drinks stalls also made cash for the charity.
Entertainment was provided by the Wellington Majorettes and Wiveliscombe Community Wind Band and there was a Teddy Bear’s Parade for the younger visitors to enjoy.
