LENKA Davies’s hair razoring head shave has raised over £2,000 for Cancer Research UK.
Lenka, who lives in the village, decided to shed her locks at a charity event at Vivary Golf Club, Taunton, on Saturday.
Jack Williamson got in on the act by winning an auction to wield the electric razor, raising £100 in the process..
And 13-year-old Aliette Goodman helped provide the entertainment with a stunning singing performance.
Lenka said: “I want to say a massive thank you for all the support and donations from friends, family and colleagues for this very worthy cause.
“We’ve all been touched by this dreadful disease and we need to do everything we can to find a cure to eliminate it forever."
