VISITORS enjoyed Victoria Park Community Centre’s annual summer fair on Sunday.
Bridgwater Deputy Mayor Cllr Leigh Redman launched the event at noon by officially opening two new facilities –|a cafe on the park’s new outside patio area and a conference room called the Park Suite.
The event included fairground rides, a petting zoo, 25ft climbing wall, free Punch and Judy shows and face painting.
Other entertainment included the band Relocate, bingo, community games, bouncy castle and a football shot speed test for World Cup fans.
Somerset Skills and Learning, Homestart, Knightstone Housing, Magna Housing, Lloyds Pharmacy and Bridgwater Credit Union provided information for the grown-ups.
Avon and Somerset Police Dogs and Devon and Somerset fire engine also attended.
