SOMERSET Community Foundation has received thousands of pounds for their contribution towards recycling for charity.

Matthew Perry, director of Perry’s Recycling, presented a cheque for over £3,200 to Mary Hancock, deputy chief executive of Somerset Community Foundation, for the money they have raised this year in paper bank recycling.

Perry’s Recycling has supported Somerset Community Foundation for many years with the banks located at the B&Q and Morrisons, The Broadway, and Sainsbury’s, The Clink.

Mary said: “The Foundation is extremely grateful for the regular support we receive from Perry’s Recycling. The money generated from Perry’s charity paper banks enables us to develop new programmes and reach out to grassroots groups in the county.”
