WORK is nearing completion on the church community centre in the heart of Trull.

Three buildings, which had been part of community life for more than 130 years, were demolished to make way for the centre.

Now the Trull Parish Archive Group has researched and published their history, including the reminiscences of some 25 past and present villagers about events over the past 70 years.

This fascinating record, called Where We Used To Live, is available from Brendon Books in Bath Place, Taunton, and from Trull Stores, Post Office and Church for £2.
